Raspberry Sauce Video - The Health eCooking® Show

What’s sweet and red and loved all over? The answer: homemade raspberry sauce. Pour this delicious, low-cal, fat-free raspberry puree over chocolate sorbet, brownies, crepes or any dessert.

Heart Healthy Recipe

Yield: 12 servings (1 Tbsp per serving)

Raspberry Sauce Video

  • 1 pt fresh raspberries
  • 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp kosher or sea salt
  • 3 drops lemon juice
  • Place raspberries in a bowl. Sift powdered sugar on top. Add lemon juice and sea salt. Pour into a blender to purée. Strain and serve.

    Raspberry sauce is very versatile. Refrigerate for up to one week. Use as a dressing for fresh berries, as an ice cream topping or as an accompaniment to chocolate cake, brownies or crepes.
