New, Advanced Osteoporosis Wellness Program Starts Soon

A new osteoporosis wellness program called OsteoExcel™ will soon be available exclusively at the Health and Wellness Center by Doylestown Hospital in Warrington. Bringing a superior, systematic approach to better bone density and improved balance, OsteoExcel™ offers both older adults and frail seniors two successful approaches to support more active living.

Call 215-918-5994 to speak with a specialist to learn more.

To help keep older adults up on their feet and participating in life as fully as possible, ask about OsteoExcel™ Balance, a unique 12-week program designed especially for seniors who have severe osteoporosis and are at risk of falling. The primary focus is to strengthen the mind and body with the intent to provide participants with greater confidence and strength for daily living.

As a proactive approach to impede bone loss in men and women of all ages, ask about OsteoExcel™ Bones. Private or group classes utilize weighted vests, handweights, and more. Regular exercise has been shown to help reduce the rate of bone loss as it strengthens muscles and improves balance, there by reducing the risk of falls and fractures.

Each program includes nutritional education and relaxation techniques to empower participants with improved lifestyle choices that reduce controllable risk factors.
