Parking Relief is on the Way
Doylestown Hospital is adding 400 new parking spaces

The hospital is currently in
discussions with two groups
to finance, build and manage
an on-campus parking garage.
The garage will be connected
to the new Emergency
Department through a
walkway tunnel.
The garage will be built to
accommodate 400 parking
spaces and will be expandable
to 800 parking spaces if
required in the future.
There will be a fee charged to
use the parking garage, so the
hospital is considering providing
a subsidy to reduce the
parking charges patients and
their families will incur.
It is expected that final
decisions regarding the
parking garage project will
be made in June, 2008. |
