I’d like to start doing something, but where do I start? If that’s the first question that pops into your head when you think about starting a fitness program, have no fear. The professional staff of the Fitness Center makes sure that your recommended program is individualized to meet your needs. It begins with a health risk assessment – a one-on one meeting with a professional staff member, who discusses with you any limitations you might have and what you would like to achieve. At subsequent appointments a degreed and certified trainer explains the principles of cardiovascular and strength building fitness and use of the equipment. After about 30 days, the trainer will review your program with you and suggest adjustments, as needed. In addition, trainers are always available to offer assistance and answer any questions you may have.
