The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
recommends an influenza vaccine for all individuals over
age 50. Individuals ages 9 to 49 with a chronic health
condition and women who will be pregnant during flu
season should also receive protection. Doylestown Hospital
works with the Bucks County Department of Health and
other county hospitals through the Bucks County Wellness
Partnership to sponsor multiple flu vaccine clinics throughout
the county. Watch the local newspapers as well as the
hospital’s web site for specific information.
