A Nearby Oasis Beakons

With over 100 fitness classes weekly, the Health and Wellness center can help you calm stress and achieve inner peace.

The Fitness Cetnter at the Health and Wellness Center bustles with over 100 fitness classes weekly, but members can gather to calm stress in secluded, quiet oases. Develop your personal zen with:

Yoga: As they mindfully pursue this 5,000-year-old discipline, members choose among yoga styles and intensities that include Gentle, Hatha and Vinyasa Flow.

Meditation: Two classes per week guide meditation and visualization. Members calm their minds and learn relaxation through this spiritual practice.

Tai Chi: Another discipline with thousands of years supporting its transformative powers, Tai Chi is likened to moving meditation. Studies show this exercise program improves balance and reduces fall risk for older people.

Healing Pool Classes: The gentle, low-impact Stretch and Strengthen class takes place in the healing pool. Aquatic Tai Chi also allows members to build mindfulness and improve balance against water’s resistance.

Personal Health Coaching: Highly trained health coaches guide members to incorporate healthful habits as they work together toward personal wellness goals. Many members find these regular, encouraging one-on-one meetings highly motivating.
