In the movie It’s a Wonderful Life, we hear, “Every time a bell rings, an
angel gets his wings.” At the Doylestown Hospital Cancer Center, when you hear
our bell ring, it means someone is
celebrating the completion of his or her
cancer treatment.
This bell was placed in the Cancer Center earlier this year in memory of Chris Buzby, who was the Cancer Center’s administrative assistant for many years.
The bell’s inscription says:
Ring this bell
Three times well
A toll to clearly say
My treatment is done
This course is run
And I am on my way
