According to Dr. Yeh, some of the
things a woman would benefit
from at any time of the month
are especially important when it
comes to coping with PMS.
Make exercise a priority.
Endorphins are the body’s
natural “feel good” chemical.
Schedule wisely. Take care
not to overbook yourself or
your family.
Eat nutritious meals.
Get adequate sleep.
Drink plenty of water.
Get at least 1000 mg of calcium
a day.
If you can, avoid stressful
undertakings (for example,
having out-of-town guests or
going on a business trip)
during the days you’re likely
to be most vulnerable.
Pamper yourself. You’ll feel
better for it! |
