Fit Fitness Into Your Life

Make Fitness a Priority and Watch the Pounds Melt Away. Join Doylestown Hospital's Health and Wellness Center and lose the weight today.

If you struggle to fit fitness into your busy schedule, you’re not alone. Lack of time is the most common reason people give for not exercising. But if you think of fitness as a priority – like other important appointments on your calendar – you’ll find it easier to find the time.

Fitting in Exercise:

1. Exercise the same time each day. You will be more likely to stick with it.
2. Get up a little earlier and start your day with exercise.
3. Exercise with a friend or get your family to join you.
4. Set realistic goals.
5. Be prepared. Keep your workout clothes packed and handy.
6. Keep it simple. A brisk walk in your neighborhood requires nothing more than a good pair of sneakers.

Just 46 Minutes: Maximize Your Fitness Time

As director of The Lab Fitness Spa at the Health and Wellness Center by Doylestown Hospital, Amber Natale understands how challenging it can be to find time for fitness.

“We don’t want you to live at the gym,” Ms. Natale says. “Spend a little time with us; then go home and enjoy your family.”

That philosophy is behind one of the newest offerings at The Lab – Experiment 46, which is designed to give women the greatest benefit for their time.

“Women rarely strength-train, yet that’s what burns the most calories,” Ms. Natale explains. “Experiment 46 is a 46-minute strength workout that uses a computerized system and progressively becomes more challenging.”

The computer charts your progress, so it’s very customized, Ms. Natale adds. The Lab’s ‘Fitness Professors’ can help you reach your fitness goals.
