Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary’s annual gala, the “Crystal Ball” will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Bridgewater Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ. This year, attendees will enjoy an incredible evening of “An Affair of the Heart”. Guests will enjoy a delectable, heart-healthy menu filled with seasonal favorites while celebrating exciting news of achievement and program expansion in the Hunterdon Healthcare System. Anyone who is looking for a “fun” gala to attend – won’t want to miss this one!
This signature event will begin at 7:00 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres immediately followed by a commemoration of our excellence in nursing care, which recently achieved the prestigious Magnet award, a national recognition that honors only 5% of all healthcare organizations with this distinction. Guests will also enjoy the sophistication of a night at the Marriott while they enjoy the music of the renowned Topaz Orchestra.
This year, guests will have many opportunities to support Hunterdon Medical Center with a bountiful Gift Auction, featuring items like: evenings out, incredible gift baskets, generous gift certificates, golf, unique jewelry, entertainment packages, and much more. This year’s Live Auction will feature: a week in luxury in Hilton Head, SC, an incredible fur piece from Flemington Furs, a week’s vacation in Virgin Gorda, a New York Experience, and more.
Tickets to the dinner dance are $250 per person and will be limited in availability. All funds raised support the Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation and the expansion of the Cardiovascular Program.

And, back by popular demand... The Auxiliary is also holding the “Ultimate 50/50” Cash Raffle where two winners will equally share 50% of the raffle proceeds. Tickets are $100 each and only 2,000 will be sold. Depending on the total number of tickets sold, each winner could win as much as $50,000! The winning tickets for the ‘”Ultimate 50/50 Cash Raffle” will be drawn at the Crystal Ball at midnight. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.
In addition, the Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation will be selling $50 raffle tickets to win an 18K yellow gold Cartier ladies’ watch from the exquisite “La Dona” collection, valued at $17,900 and generously donated by Roman Jewelers of Flemington and the Bridgewater Mall.
All proceeds from both raffles will benefit the hospital.
