On Friday, April 18th Perryville Wine and Spirits of Perryville, NJ and the Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation once again teamed up to host a Wine and Beer Tasting event to benefit the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center (HRCC).
Over 250 guests attended this annual fundraiser at the Grand Colonial in Perryville, NJ. This year’s proceeds topped previous years with nearly $11,000 raised to benefit HRCC. Hosts Gordon and Shelly Stewart of Perryville Wine and Spirits coordinated this event and generously donated their time and resources to put forth a memorable and enjoyable evening to benefit the cancer patients at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.
In addition to the wide variety of wines and beers and vodka martini ice bar provided by Ketel One, guests were able to sample an assortment of cheeses from around the world donated by the Milford Market. The evening’s entertainment was graciously provided by a talented local band, ‘78 West’.
Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, a partner of Fox Chase Cancer Center, offers exceptional diagnosis, treatment and prevention services provided by an extraordinary team that includes physicians, nurses, therapists, dietitians, social workers and support staff all encompassed in a completely full-service facility in Flemington, New Jersey.
“We cannot thank the Stewarts enough for all they have contributed to provide ways to raise funds to benefit our cancer patients,” said Barbara Tofani, Director of HRCC. Our most fervent hope is that no one else from our community will ever need our services. But if someone ever does need us, we want the people of our community to know us and trust that we will do everything in our power to care for them in the best way possible.”
