A great golf swing is a graceful movement powered by strength and endurance, perfected by flexibility and coordination.
“Tiger Woods is able to shoot low scores
for many reasons, but golf fitness training
and proper diet play a major role,” says Teri
Gatarz, MS, a golf performance specialist at
the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers
in Clinton and Whitehouse Station.
The fitness side of golf has exploded since Tiger Woods came on the scene. Recreational as well as professional golfers can improve their game, and reduce their risk of injury, through specialized training.
Training Fore Golf, a program to enhance performance, physical and mental fitness, posture analysis and nutrition, is now available at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers in Whitehouse Station and Clinton.
“I train athletes at all levels; it is rewarding to have a golfer put the pieces together and see their game take off,” explains Ms. Gatarz.
