What’s round and purple and gets you moving in every which way? Step into a pair of 9-inch Gliding™ discs and you will soon discover a new fitness routine that is as fun as it is effective.

Gliding™ is a form of exercise named after the small plastic discs that help you slide and glide your way through a multi-muscle, cardiovascular and strength with each step you take and with an increased range of motion for added flexibility.
“Picture a speed skater to imagine the side-to-side, sliding motion you get with the discs,” says Lori Kancylarz, a fitness instructor and certified personal trainer who leads classes for Hunterdon Medical Center.
“Gliding™ works your inner and outer thighs like nothing else. Lunges and squats are no longer a stationery exercise, and you can really work your ‘core’ muscles by being able to twist and bend into more challenging moves,” she explains.
Above all else, Gliding™ works because people enjoy doing it and it adds a refreshing change to ordinary exercises. Lori notes, “Men love the challenge the discs provide for push-ups and core training, while ladies love the added benefit of toning the trouble spots in a fun, yet effective way.”
