Coming Soon: The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Clinton

Hospital-based health and wellness centers have become a popular alternative to the local gym because they combine fitness with disease prevention and health enhancement.

 

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in fitness centers that offer more than a good spinning class. Hospital-based health and wellness centers have become a popular alternative to the local gym because they combine fitness with disease prevention and health enhancement.

Hunterdon Medical Center is pleased to announce that a new, 90,000+ square-foot medical fitness facility and medical office building is scheduled to open this summer in Clinton. Memberships to the fitness center are now being accepted.

At the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Clinton, fitness professionals will collaborate with physicians to determine the best exercise and health optimization plans for members. This is especially important for cardiopulmonary rehab and physical therapy patients and others with specific health concerns.

The facility will include a 50 x 75 foot pool, a therapy pool and a large whirlpool, as well as a spacious exercise area with state-of-the-art resistance equipment, free weights and cardiovascular machines. In addition, the center will have two aerobic studios, a spin studio, indoor walking/jogging track, coed sauna and steam room as well as an educational classroom.
