The Diabetes Health Center has moved from the Hunterdon Medical Pavilion to a larger facility in the Wescott Medical Arts Center, which is located just past the Hunterdon Medical Center on Wescott Drive.

Also, the name of the facility has changed to the Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management to better describe its services.

The center provides medical nutrition therapy, which includes counseling on diabetes, celiac disease, eating disorders, weight loss, weight gain, irritable bowel disease, cardiac disease, hypertension, cancer, sports nutrition, osteoporosis, renal disease, kidney stones and diverticulitis.

Diabetes educators counsel patients on new skills, behavior change and information on gestatonal diabetes management, Type 1 and 2, insulin pump therapy, and impaired fasting glucose.

Additionally, The Diabetes and Endocrine Associates of Hunterdon – the office of Marc Sandberg, MD, FACE, CDE, and Felice Caldarella, MD, FACP – moved from the Hunterdon Medical Pavilion to the Wescott Medical Arts Center.
