Richard and Carol Hinkle of Bethlehem Township have been married 50 years.

When Carol was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Richard wanted to keep his wife at home for as long as possible. Because Carol had other health issues, Richard had to find a skilled nurse to help.
He found help with Care Connections*– a service that provides nursing staff to help individuals at home with services not covered by many insurance plans.
“Regardless of insurance coverage, many people need nursing care to manage a chronic condition,” says Madeline Denlinger, RN, BSN, MPA, director of the program. “Clients can get the services they need without leaving the comfort and safety of their home.”
