Aliya Browne, DO, Cardiologist
“My mother has always inspired me to be the best I can be,” says Aliya Frances Browne, DO, FACC. “I want to do the same for other women.”
Dr. Browne is a board-certified, noninvasive clinical cardiologist with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates and director of the Hunterdon Cardiovascular Heart Failure Center. She is currently writing a book on heart disease in women and hopes to empower and inspire her readers to live healthier lives. She has a special interest in female health care and the prevention of heart disease in African Americans and other ethnic groups.
A graduate of Temple University, Dr. Browne received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine/New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her residency at St. Barnabas Hospital System, Union Hospital, in Union, NJ, and her fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ.
