2005 Grant Partners

 
The year 2005 brought $200,000 in grants for HMC programs, services and capital needs.

HMC is thankful for the renewed commitment of these established grant partners:
- sanofi aventis for the Diabetes Youth and Hispanic Initiative in the Diabetes Health Center's partnership with local schools
- Ross Products Division: Abbott Laboratories for professional development of HMC healthcare professionals
- Johnson & Johnson for the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center's Risk and Genetic Assessment Program, a bi-lingual well-child clinic in Lambertville, and support for Diabetes Health Center programs to underserved outpatients
- Ortho-McNeil Inc. for Hunterdon Hospice's Youth Bereavement Art Therapy Program

HMC thanks these new grant partners in 2005:

- The Klipstein Family Foundation has helped HMC launch its first interdepartmental project to address eating disorders.
- BJs Charitable Foundation, a national supporter of programs for children and families, for HMC's CPR Center for infant, child and adult Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for community training programs.
- Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson and the Community Foundation of New Jersey for a comprehensive, bi-lingual Prenatal Health Literacy Program in conjunction with HMC's Parent and Childbirth Education.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities for "Kids Zone 5," a renovation for the Child Development Center on the fifth floor of HMC. Approximately 2,000 children annually receive services in "Kids Zone 5."
- Mead Johnson for professional development for Child Development staff.
- MultiPlan for a telehealth monitor for Hunterdon Regional Community Health.
