Overall Cancer Deaths Dropping, But Liver Cancer Is Increasing

 

Primary liver cancer seems to be increasing faster than any other cancer in the U.S. as a result of chronic HBV and HCV, according to the Journal of the National Cancer Institute (JNCI, vol. 97, no. 19, 10/5/05). Liver cancer is one of the most deadly, being the eighth most common cause of cancer deaths in the U.S.
