HBF Wins Prestigious IMPACT Award and $40,000!

Funds will be used to launch the Gateway to Care campaign in Philadelphia

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) presented the Hepatitis B Foundation, and seven other regional nonprofit organizations, with their 11th annual IMPACT Awards on March 20 during a special luncheon in Philadelphia, PA. The winning nonprofits each received $40,000 in unrestricted funding as part of the competitive award. A panel of local and national healthcare experts and GSK representatives selected the finalists.

The Hepatitis B Foundation is proud to be publicly recognized for its commitment to meeting the needs of people affected by hepatitis B. It is rewarding to know that our history of health education, creative partnerships, and solid record of achievement and leadership has made an impact in our community.

The prestigious GSK IMPACT Award funds will be used to leverage and launch the HBF’s exciting new Gateway to Care campaign in Philadelphia to improve access to care, which is a fitting tribute to the spirit of the award!
