On December 5, the HBF participated in the first Grassroots Training and Hill Education Day, sponsored by members of the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable and other groups, in Washington D.C. People from across the country were inivited to participate in a day of advocacy training, followed by visits to their state's congressional representatives on Capitol Hill. The goal was to send a unified message to Congress that people affected by viral hepatitis can no longer be ignored!
