Molli Conti Named HBF Executive Director

The Hepatitis B Foundation Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Molli Conti as its new Executive Director. Her energy, enthusiasm and deep commitment to the mission of the foundation as Vice President for Community Outreach helped us gain recognition as a trusted global resource for hepatitis B information and patient support. In her new position, Ms. Conti will continue to guide the successful outreach and advocacy programs, but will provide more leadership for the organization’s strategic long-term growth and development.

Ms. Conti is a respected leader and actively engaged in the world of viral hepatitis at the local and national level.

In January 2006, she was named Chair of the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR), a 120-member coalition that released the first-ever national strategic plan to eliminate viral hepatitis in the U.S. this past May. She is co-author of publications on the needs of hepatitis B patients and principal investigator for grants from the NIH and U.S. Department of Education. In addition, Ms. Conti serves on the board of the Delaware Valley HepTREC and is President-elect for the James A. Michener Museum in Bucks County, Pa. Ms. Conti graduated with a B.S. in Community Development from Penn State University.
