The Diabetes Resource Center at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center helps people with diabetes live an active lifestyle while managing their disease.

The center provides individual counseling
sessions for nutrition, medication use and blood
sugar testing and offers education and support
for both diabetics and their families. A fivesession
self-management program teaches
patients about the disease; ways to treat it
through medicine, diet and exercise; and shares
skills to cope with diabetes and manage stress.
Diabetics have access to an individually designed
exercise program at
CarePlex Outpatient Center
at 81 Robinson St., Pottstown.
