Wild Berry Salad with Chocolate Balsamic Dressing Recipe

This multicolored and super-healthy assortment of fresh fruits is berrylicious! The chocolate-balsamic combination creates a sweet-tart dressing for the berries.

Yield: 1 serving of salad, 6 servings of dressing

Wild Berry Salad with Chocolate Balsamic Dressing Recipe

  • 3 strawberries
  • 4 blackberries
  • 4 raspberries
  • 10 blueberries
  • 5 mandarin orange segments
  • 1 tsp sliced almonds
  • 5 leaves fresh basil
  • 1 cup mesclun greens
  • Chocolate Balsamic Dressing

  • 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 4 oz canola oil
  • 1 tsp minced shallots
  • pinch of salt
  • Mix all dressing ingredients together until blended.

    Combine all salad ingredients evenly on mesclun greens and top with almonds. Drizzle the chocolate balsamic dressing atop salad.
