There is always something special going on at Morris Hall. Whether it’s Super Bowl Sunday, Super Tuesday or just another day, you can be sure that our caring staff and dedicated volunteers are making it fun for our residents.

In this issue of Living Well, we celebrate the many people who make a difference in the lives of our residents. This past year, volunteers Peter and Linda Brennan were honored for the countless ways they have brought smiles and laughter into our hearts.
Week after week, the Brennans spend time at Morris Hall, sponsoring fun activities or leading discussion groups. They are also responsible for two very popular annual events: the heartwarming, “Soup’s On” lunch in the winter and an outdoor barbecue in the spring.
Peter Brennan, a retired history teacher, shares his knowledge of current events in a lively discussion group every Tuesday afternoon. It is one of the most highly anticipated events of the week. His wife Linda also comes every Tuesday. Most recently, she has been showing slides from around the world.
“Some of the residents have never traveled out of the country, so it’s exciting for them to see the shows,” Linda says. “Last week, I took residents on a virtual tour of Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti. I always kindly remind them to bring their passports.”
